They are small enough for a preemie. My baby was a preemie too at 4 lbs. 3.8 ounces and they used the newborn swaddlers in the NICU where she was. They told us not to get the preemie ones because they outgrow them really fast. But believe me the newborn pamper swaddlers work great. (They don't make pamper swaddlers in premmies) You can get the newborn pamper swaddlers. They are small enough for a preemie.
